Does fish have yeast in it?

Fish, in general, does not contain yeast. Yeast is a type of fungus commonly found in sugar- and carbohydrate-rich environments. Since fish are aquatic animals and do not naturally live in such environments, they do not carry or contain significant amounts of yeast.
