Do all fish breathe through gills?

Almost all fish breathe through gills. There is one known exception: the lungfish. Lungfish are a group of fish that have lungs as well as gills. They can use their lungs to breathe air when the water they live in is low in oxygen. This allows them to survive in environments where other fish would not be able to live.
