Are lemon sharks one of the fastest sharks?

Lemon sharks are not considered one of the fastest sharks. While they are known for their agility and maneuverability in shallow waters, their average swimming speed is around 15-18 miles per hour. In comparison, some of the fastest sharks, such as the shortfin mako shark, can reach speeds of up to 60 miles per hour.
