Did Megalodon Sharks exist when people were alive?

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that megalodon sharks co-existed with humans. While megalodons were among the largest sharks to have ever existed, they are believed to have gone extinct about 2.6 million years ago, long before the emergence of modern humans.
