Is hi-chew made of whale blubber?

Hi-Chew is a fruit-flavored taffy candy produced by the Japanese confectionery company Morinaga. The ingredients of Hi-Chew include sugar, corn syrup, water, palm oil, gelatin, artificial flavors, and colors. Whale blubber is not an ingredient in Hi-Chew.
