What species does an albatross belong in?

An albatross belongs in the species of large seabirds found in the Southern Ocean and the North Pacific Ocean. They are the largest living birds, with wingspans of up to 3.6 metres (12 ft). Albatrosses are graceful flyers and can soar for long periods of time without flapping their wings. They feed on fish, squid, and krill.
