What do whale shark teeth look like?

The whale shark has about 300 rows of tiny, hooked teeth that are used to filter plankton and fish. The teeth are not exposed when the whale shark is open its mouth; its mouth is wide and the teeth are located on the inside of its mouth. The teeth are about the size of toothpicks, are white, and point slightly backward in its throat instead of down its mouth.
