Why can the blue-footed booby only be found on Galapagos Islands?

This statement is not accurate. While most of the known populations of blue-footed boobies are indeed native to the Galapagos Islands, they can also be found in Peru, Colombia, Central America, the Northern coast of South America and Southern Mexico.
