What chemicals can you not use when giving a guinea pig bath?

Guinea pig cannot be given baths. Their skin contains delicate oils which they cannot produce themselves. Bathing them can be harmful and can lead to dry skin and fur, skin irritation, and even lead to death. If your guinea pig becomes soiled you can use a damp washcloth to gently clean them.
