Is Duct Tape Bad For Hamsters?

Duct tape should never be used on a hamster. Duct tape is extremely sticky, and can easily remove fur and even skin if a hamster chews on or gets tangled in it. Duct tape can also be toxic to hamsters if they ingest it. Always use materials specifically designed for hamsters, such as hamster tape, when securing items in their enclosure.
