Are butterflies in danger of becoming extinct?

Butterflies are important pollinators and indicators of environmental health. While some butterfly species are declining due to habitat loss, climate change, and pesticide use, many others are still thriving. Conservation efforts are underway to protect butterfly habitats and reduce threats to these beautiful and ecologically important insects.
