Is a zebra related to hippo?

Zebras and hippos are not closely related. They belong to different taxonomic families within the order Perissodactyla (odd-toed ungulates): Zebras belong to the Equidae family, which includes horses and donkeys, while hippos belong to the Hippopotamidae family, which includes pygmy hippos.
