What does a black turban snail eat?

Black turban snails (Tegula funebralis) are herbivores, and their diet consists primarily of algae. They use their radula, a tongue-like structure with rows of teeth, to scrape algae off of rocks and other surfaces.

They are often found in intertidal zones and are important members of the marine ecosystem.
