How long can a dolphins teeth get?

Dolphins do not have teeth that continuously grow. Different dolphin species have different numbers of teeth, ranging from 50 to over 100. These teeth are usually around 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm) in length and do not grow significantly throughout the dolphin's life.
