How old can a hawksbill turtle get?

The average lifespan of a hawksbill turtle in the wild is 30 to 50 years. However, some individuals have been known to live for much longer. The oldest confirmed age of a hawksbill turtle was 85 years. This turtle was caught in Brazil in 2011 and was estimated to have been born in 1926.
