What is the lifespan of Little Spotted kiwi?

Little Spotted kiwi have an average lifespan of around 60 years in the wild. While in captivity, their lifespan can extend up to 80 years. However, it is not unheard of for Little Spotted kiwi to live even longer. The oldest known Little Spotted kiwi was a male named Derek who lived for 90 years at the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve in New Zealand.
