Puppies typically start to pee without their mother's stimulation at around 3 to 4 weeks of age. By this time, their kidneys and bladder are developed enough to allow them to control their urination. However, some puppies may take a little longer to gain full control of their bladder, and may continue to need their mother's help until they are 6 to 8 weeks old.
