After a mourning dove egg is hatched how long do the parents stay?

The mourning dove parents will stay with the newly hatched egg for about two weeks. During this time, they will take turns incubating the egg and feeding the hatchling. Once the hatchling is able to fly and find its own food, the parents will leave it to fend for itself.
