How big is a woolly mammoths brain?

Woolly mammoths (Mammuthus primigenius) had brains that were significantly smaller than those of modern elephants. While the brain of a modern African elephant can weigh up to 5 kilograms (11 pounds) and occupy up to 2% of its body weight, the brain of a woolly mammoth is estimated to have weighed around 4 kilograms (8.8 pounds).
