How big is a wolf cub?

Wolf cubs are born small, weighing only about 1 pound (0.45 kilograms). They grow quickly, however, and can reach a weight of up to 50 pounds (22.7 kilograms) by the time they are 6 months old. At this age, they are about the same size as an adult coyote.
