Do shark attacks happen a lot in Aptos?

Aptos is a coastal city in Santa Cruz County, California, United States. It is not known for having a high incidence of shark attacks. In fact, there have only been a handful of shark attacks in the entire Monterey Bay area, which includes Aptos, over the past century.
