Why does your pool turn green now that you switched from baquacil to chlorine?

Pools don't turn green from switching from Baquacil to chlorine; they turn green because of algae growth. Algae can grow in any pool, regardless of the sanitiser used, if not adequately maintained. To prevent green pool water, ensure proper chlorine levels (1-3 ppm), pH balanced (7.2-7.8), adequate circulation, and regular cleaning.
