What color is a giraffes toungs?

A giraffe’s tongue is black. Their dark coloration may act as a form of camouflage, a way of hiding the blood vessels in their tongue that might otherwise serve as an invitation to hungry lions. But the true purpose of the odd coloration still isn’t known for certain.
