What is a skunk-bag?

"Skunk-bag" is an American slang expression used to describe someone who is contemptible and worthless. The term originally referred to a bag used to carry unpleasant things such as dirty laundry, but it has come to be used in a metaphorical sense to describe a person who is considered nasty, unpleasant, or disgusting.
