Why is snow fox endangered animals?

The snow fox (Vulpes lagopus) is not an endangered species according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The IUCN categorised the snow fox under "Least Concern" with a stable population trend. They are widespread and relatively abundant in their Arctic habitat.
