When do wolf pups learn to howl?

Wolf pups usually begin to learn to howl at around 2-3 weeks of age. While they may start out with more of a yapping sound, they will begin to mimic the howls of their parents and other members of the pack. By 6-8 weeks, they will be able to produce long, sustained howls that can carry over long distances.
